The bakers also regularly surprise you with a new pastry. The pastry chef’s favorite is the Dubbeldekker; a tompouce with Swiss cream and whipped cream. You can make a choice in our beautiful store or make your choice in our webshop in advance.
A cake is part of a festive occasion. The pastry chefs make the cake according to your wishes and it is prepared fresh daily. The base of the cake consists of an airy layer of cake. Which filling we use is up to you. The bakers can personalize your cake by adding a photo or text. We ask that you order cakes in advance. If this is done a day in advance, we will be able to create your cake in time. Feel free to take a look at our webshop and choose your own taste and size. Adding a photo is also possible here.
We also have many luxury cakes in our pastry range. These can vary in taste and appearance. This may depend on the season or a public holiday. We have various schnittes and cakes as standard in our range. This last cake helped us to call ourselves “The Best Baker in the Netherlands” in 2016. Bakery Vreugdenhil is well rooted in Westland, which is why we prefer to work with regional products. As soon as the season of the Westland strawberries starts, we make various cakes with strawberries. Westlandse verleiding is also a speciality. This luxurious, tasty sandwich is made with a hint of mocha, pecans, raisins and Swiss cream. The cinnamon sugar on top makes it a real temptation.
